Nutrition A3: Nutrition Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace

The Nutrition A3 program is a group of six interactive projects that empower teens to make healthy food choices and be physically active. The goal is to change behaviors and reduce their risk of becoming overweight by using technology - a media teens love to engage in! Projects include:

  1. Getting Started with MyPyramid.
  2. Get Moving!
  3. Fun with Fruits and Veggies
  4. Eat to Win:Fuel Up with Less Fat
  5. From Screen Time to Fun Time
  6. Rate Your Beverage Choices

Nutrition A3 projects allow students to practice an interdisciplinary range of skills. These projects are suitable for the classroom or after- school programs. Lessons are linked to Illinois learning standards.

Illinois teachers are eligible to receive 4 CPDU credits and a free poster if they complete both the pre and post survey and send us their name, school name and school address.  Please email these to ilnet@kidsroe.org.
